Trademark questions I’m so confuse

Greetings! After a few years of selling on Amazon, I’ve decided to take a leap and establish my own brand. I took a chance and opted to file on my own, paying the $250 fee a week ago. Today, I received a call informing me that I need to pay a Filing Declaration fee of $425. I’m unsure about the necessity of this Declaration, so I’d like to know if it’s a requirement by Amazon.
