Trying to sign up to sell – so frustrating.

Hi, I am posting here because I cannot post on the Amazon Seller Forums yet. I’m trying to register a seller account… My wife and I each have our own Amazon personal accounts. She wants to sell on Amazon, so I tried to register her for a seller account, but when I use her account, it’s a non-starter: I hit “sign up”, and then hit the “Begin” blue button at the bottom of the page, and then an error pops up that says “Something has gone wrong. Try again later”. Been trying for 2 days – same thing.

So I figured whatever, I’ll just sign up using my account. Well, that got further – I was able to put in all personal information, upload identity verification docs, etc.. but then on what I assume is the final page before verification – where it shows you all the information to make sure it’s correct – I click on “Next” at the bottom of the page after making sure everything is correct, and it gives a loading circle, and then just reloads the same information overview page. I keep hitting “Next”, even after changing information, uploading new documents, etc… but it just never continues.

I’m about to try with a third account – An Amazon account I haven’t used in years, but it doesn’t have any history to speak of, so I’ll probably get declined simply because it will look like a throwaway. If I keep changing things up, trying new emails, etc. I’m just going to get blocked, I think.

Holy cow, if Amazon wants me to sell stuff on their site, they sure aren’t making it easy.
