Twice this weekend I’ve had odd FBM orders..

I’m still kinda new but have about 25 ASINs in my store. This weekend I had two people purchase 5 of something I sell. While I’m normally doing flips for opportunities to sell 5 things and only have to pay to ship once, I’m a little suspicious about these.

First on Friday someone in Chicago ordered 5 of a mascara I sell. The last 5 I had in stock. So I wondered if maybe this was bought by someone else who is selling this and if this was some sort of black hat tactic.

As it turns out, the person now occupying the buy box is also from Chicago. But about a 30 minute drive away from my customer. I asked someone in another forum and they said this didn’t sound like a scam, that they might have ordered it so it was “Pending” for a week if they were trying to do something sketchy but not buy out my stock at my desired price.

So I shipping them off and didn’t think much more about it but then last night I get an order for 5 of a kitchen product I’m selling, not the last 5, I still have a few left. And they are also from Illinois, albeit about an hour and a half from Chicago. And this is a business customer, if that makes any difference.

So I’m wondering if this is anything I should be suspicious of and maybe cancel the order or should I just celebrate my victory and enjoy the big orders?
