UK residents looking to form an LLC in the states – is Wyoming the best choice for our business?

It’s an online retail business and we sell our product primarily on Amazon (the UK, EU and USA marketplaces). Recently Amazon made a policy that for only US companies can sell in this particular category in the US marketplace. We now want to now make an LLC in order to be able to continue selling it there. Amazon has confirmed that trading through an LLC will enable us to sell our product.

So the question is, where do we form our LLC? From looking online, Wyoming seems to be the best choice because of the low registration and filing fees, and non-existent corporate taxes. Delaware seems to be more geared towards larger businesses, and has higher taxes and maintenance fees.

Ultimately, we’re looking for the most tax-efficient state with the least amount of headache. Is Wyoming a good choice? We expect this business to do $300-500K annually.
