Unbelievable number of campaign clicks this morning

I am seeing an unusually high number of clicks this morning. I first noticed it at 10am and now it’s just past noon and my budget is almost used up for the day.

This campaign has been running for a few months and I’ve never seen anything like it before. No changes have been made to the settings recently because I was very pleased with the results it was getting.

Is there any plausible reason for this other than a bad actor?
