Ungating clothing in UK and EU market

So I am about to launch a product and I am reading about what one needs to do to sell clothing. – you must have an inventory of more Than one product in this category. Does this mean I need to for example sell T shirts and Tank Tops or have more than one colour of that said T shirt.

And what else do I need to do to ungate it?
