Using Amazon Shipping or Third Party Shipping

Hello,

I am 100% FBM and currently handle shipping myself using Royal Mail, independent of Amazon. However, I’ve encountered numerous issues such as lost parcels and late deliveries, which are beyond my control and affecting my account health. As we all know how Royal Mail are so incompetent.

I’m considering using Amazon’s shipping services due to their promise of safeguarding performance metrics and ensuring that A-to-Z claims won’t impact my order defect rate. Is this genuinely effective, or is it just another tactic by Amazon to encourage us to use their shipping? (Ill be using EVRI drop off service)

I would greatly appreciate any advice from those who have experience with both methods.
