What happens to my FBA inventory if I delete listing and create new one?

I need to change my “brand name” field for 1 product from “Generic” back to what it was (my brand name).

Amazon said I need to delete the entire listing and make a new one. My question is, what would happen to the inventory at Amazon since it’s already labeled with a specific ASIN?
