What resolution for images?

What resolution do you guys typically use for your images? I’ve been doing 2000×2000. I read that somewhere as best resolution. But I noticed a lot of other competitors don’t seem to do that. I think the 2000×2000 allows you to zoom in more so maybe that’s only good with info images? I’m curious what you guys do.
