Who is paying my taxes?
Hey everyone I need some help here. Im trying to shut down an Amazon dropshipping business thing I was in. Essentially, when I wanted to quit the business, the company I was a client of, screwed everything up and my store was made obsolete.
As of now, I’ve returned my retail license. This license was used as a sales and use if I’m not mistaken? Essentially I used this to get tax deductions for Sam’s club and Walmart.
When I had the license, I was filing zeros every month on the department of revenue website. Essentially I am supposed to file a return after a year or something (this month).
The problem is, my accountant keeps asking “who is paying my tax?” Idk who is… i thought Amazon was paying the taxes?? Doesnt Amazon cover the taxes on products sold?
I’m so lost. Does anyone have a clue?
