Wholesale items arriving damaged in Amazon Warehouse?

Hi everyone,

I am new to wholesale and couldn’t help but wonder what happens to items that arrive damaged in the FBA warehouse?

I am selling liquid gel type item whose plastics cover can potentially break and leak onto other items.

Not that I plan on neglecting proper packaging, but what happens if a there is a crack on the plastic(s) and the liquid rubs off on the other units?

Silly Q, but Does Amazon notify my of this or do they go ahead and ship out the damaged product?
