Won the dispute but they kept my inventory
Dealing with FBM orders and chargebacks are brutal. Customer disputed a $340 order saying it was defective. I submitted tracking and communication where she said everything arrived fine. Actually won the dispute two weeks later. Great right? Except she never returned the product.
I got the money back but she kept $340 worth of inventory. Apparently winning a chargeback doesn’t obligate them to return anything. Asked my payment processor if I could pursue it and they said that’s a separate civil matter. Winning feels hollow when they still get to keep everything.
