Work on Store, or Listing first?

A friend owns a printing company, and asked me to help set up Amazon listings and Store for her. She doesn’t want to deal with the “tech” side of things, so she owns the Amazon account, I’m an authorized user, and am creating listings for her. I created listings using the “Generic” brand, and we’re now in the process of shipping our first box of products to FBA.

Friend has applied for a Trademark with USPTO and wants a store. As we’re having trouble with getting Amazon to accept the TM, I will want to change the listings, or recreate them with the TM brand, once the TM is accepted. But, I can’t work on the store, in the meantime, because of this TM issue.

Is there any work around? Seems like 6 months ago, I could work on the store, but now I can’t. What am I missing?
