Worried about hijackers

so i am going to start learning about Amazon FBA and I decided to go with wholesale. one thing that is really concerning me with amazon fba is the amount of people that can ruin your listings, I have seen many many people get fkd over because of that. competitors rating products really low, hijacking, reporting, etc. how do you get over it and should this be a factor to do normal dropshipping. for context I am 17 and my dad is investing 10k on me for amazon fba so Idr want to mess things up.
