I need to get a trademark for my brand in the US. But as a non-US citizen, we’re forced to use a lawyer. But the paperwork seems fairly simple to do if you were a US citizen doing it yourself. So I was thinking, would it be possible to have a US friend trademark it and put both our names on it? And then have them remove their name from it later or even ”buy them out” for like $1 or something?
