My experience so far with selling in Canada FBA from the USA
I’ve been taking advantage of Amazon’s North American Remote Fulfillment (NARF) program and have been selling a few products in Canada using my US inventory. Sales are high enough that it’s worth importing into Canadian FBA centers. The goal is to lower the price for Amazon customers, leading to more sales. Here’s what I’ve had to do so far:
Register for a Revenue Canada Business Number
Register for a UPS Small Parcel Brokerage Account number and UPS OMD Brokerage Account Number
This all seemed very complex, so I hired a 3rd party to do this. They also handle customs and imports through their shipping platform. Hope it’s okay to share the service I used here, I am not affiliated with them other than being a customer https://www.frisbi.com/
I’m also now learning that I may need to report GST/HST taxes. If anyone has experience with this, please share.
