2000 copies of a children’s book, looking to sell them on amazon

My dad wrote a children’s book years and years ago. I’ve been holding onto over 2000 copies for some time, new and wrapped in original packaging. I’m interested in selling them. I don’t currently sell on Amazon, and I’m curious of people thoughts on if selling on Amazon would be the best idea. I live in Alaska so selling and shipping myself might be more difficult. They will however fit in a flat rate envelope or similar because they are thin. Oh and the price on the back of book, and on old Amazon listings is 15.95 if that helps calculate margins. Any opinions on the matter or the what might someone with more experience recommend I do to get started? Thanks 🙂
