Amazon asking to re-verify business seller account with personal information

Title.

Asking for a friend who is a business with a business account, yet Amazon is asking to re-verify and asking for all kinds of personal info such as driver’s license, home address, birth date; which said friend is uncomfortable with providing. He is not a personal seller and is uncomfortable giving so much personal information. Is that normal with Amazon? Is there a way not have to give this personal info? How have you guys and gals handled this?
