Listing brand name products

Trying to get some information on listing brand name products I tried listing one then Amazon wanted me to apply for a brand authorization. I got approved for that and now it’s giving me another error message that the UPC does not match the listing I put everything just the way it is on the product name info etc

Are you even able to list brand-name products? If your just doing arbitrage ? Or am I just wasting my time by doing this? And just sell on a listing that already exist any information will be appreciated. Thanks
