is my “Estimated fee per unit sold” correct?

My sister has recently started selling on amazon. She is selling her homemade sweaters for $52. She is shipping them herself not going through amazon shipping or storage. In her amazon seller account it says ” Estimated fee per unit sold” $8.84

8.84 is 17%. I thought that seems way to high if she’s shipping and storing them herself.

I thought i remember seeing that fees would be about 3% since she’s shipping them herself.

Amazon also charges 29.99 a month even if you don’t sell anything

Is this price correct?
