Did I waste my money purchasing Scoutly with a regular Amazon account?

I am new to amazon and I was thinking about scanning books and sending them into amazon. The issue I have been having is it says I’m approved to sell an item, then when I try to list it, I get the same thing, or I’m unable to tell if I’m restrict to sell it. I tried to set up my scoutly account with amazon for this, and now it looks like a need a professional account? Can someone advise.
