Product Title Optimizations: Will using “•” instead of commas confuse the algorithm?
I want my product name to be more stylish and maybe stand out but I don’t know if it will backfire because it can’t be parsed by the algorithm or something.
I’m just starting out so please excuse me if my question is silly… In case you are curious, I will use • to separate different use cases of the product in the title.

Anyone having issues with ‘send to amazon’?
Hi – I can’t seem to see anyone talking about this on amazon forum so I wanted to ask here. Are we the only one having issues with ‘send to amazon’? We can’t proceed because the only available option is minimal shipment splits (or the option with only 1 location). Usually we get partial shipment which is cheaper but now it just keeps on loading. It is not greyed out, it just has the circle loading logo and it has been like this for hours already. Anyone else? I kinda worried if we are the only one experiencing this. I hope not!!

No sales today at all, anyone else?
Anyone else having very slow sales today? I can’t remember when I had it this low. It’s been progressively worse the whole month. I have not changed anything, still have buy boxes, no marks on my account. I realize it’s only a day but I’m down 50% from last month.

SIMA charge on Amazon.ca FBA import?
I just sent a shipment into Canada after years of not stocking there. I am the brand owner in manufacturer of my product.
I put the wholesale price for my product even though I was shipping it to myself. Was I supposed to put the retail price on amazon.ca?
My bill from UPS brokerage included a large charge for: The Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) is Canada’s law that protects domestic industries from injury caused by dumped or subsidized imports.
I do have a Canadian business entity number but have never filed tax returns to get any of my import charges refunded to me because I don’t know how and it’s always been a small number.

Amazon’s New AI Audio Summaries: What Sellers Need to Know in 2025
Amazon’s latest test feature—“Hear the Highlights”—isn’t just another flashy update for shoppers. It’s a clear signal that voice-first ecommerce is on the rise, and sellers who prepare now will have a powerful edge.
Powered by generative AI, this new audio feature is already being tested on select products in the Amazon Shopping app, offering short-form audio product summaries compiled from listings, customer reviews, and outside data.
Let’s break down what this means, why it matters now, and how you can prepare to stay ahead.
What Is “Hear the Highlights”?
Amazon’s “Hear the Highlights” feature generates AI-powered audio clips that act like a mini product podcast. A virtual shopping assistant walks through product features and benefits in under a minute, using data pulled directly from your listings and reviews.
Here’s how it works:
Shoppers tap the “Hear the Highlights” button in the Amazon app
AI compiles your content, customer reviews, and third-party data
A short, conversational-style audio summary plays automatically
“The summaries are currently available on select products to a subset of U.S. customers, and we plan to roll out this feature on more product detail pages and to more U.S. customers in the coming months.” — Amazon News
So even if your listings don’t have it yet, they soon could—and when that happens, you want to sound like a five-star expert, not a robotic listing.
Why This Matters Now (Even If You’re Not in the Test Group Yet)
This shift isn’t just about audio—it’s about how your product is perceived at a glance (or in this case, a listen). Amazon sellers need to understand:
- AI is now your first impression
- Your listing quality influences what the AI says
- Customer reviews guide how persuasive the message sounds
If your content is inconsistent, keyword-stuffed, or filled with jargon, that will come through. So will poor reviews.
What “Hear the Highlights” Pulls From
This AI tool doesn’t just recite bullet points—it synthesizes across multiple content types:
- Product titles and descriptions
- Bullet points
- A+ content
- Customer reviews and FAQs
- External data about product category or competitors
If your listing is sloppy, incomplete, or filled with jargon, the summary will reflect that.
If your reviews highlight quality, ease of use, or fast delivery—you win.
What Amazon Sellers Should Do Now
Here’s how to get ahead of the rollout and make sure your product sounds its best when “Hear the Highlights” hits your page:
1. Optimize Listings for Audio
Use conversational, benefit-driven language. Keep it clean and human—not stuffed with keywords.

2. Improve Review Sentiment
AI will echo your customers. The more consistently positive your reviews, the more persuasive the audio summary.
Use Seller Labs Feedback Genius to automate post-purchase review requests and improve sentiment.
3. Use Data to Support Your Story
AI prioritizes trusted and consistent signals—so back up your claims.
Seller Labs tools like SKU Details and SKU Economics help you monitor and optimize what’s working at the SKU level.
4. Be Ready for Voice-First Shoppers
This isn’t just a listening gimmick. As AI features expand, voice search and audio experiences will shape buying behavior.
Now’s the time to adapt.
Where Amazon Is Headed (and Why You Should Be, Too)
“Hear the Highlights” is just one of many new AI-powered tools Amazon is testing:
- Rufus: AI shopping assistant
- Review Highlights: AI-synthesized review sentiment
- Shopping Guides: Personalized product guidance
- Buy for Me: AI purchasing agent on non-Amazon sites
All of these point to one trend: Shorter, smarter buying decisions. The window to influence customers is shrinking—but the sellers who deliver clean, confident data will thrive.

How does a beginner start out when almost every brand is gated?
I’ve tried selling a ton of products and every brand so far is gated. Everything needs an invoice…
Can someone suggest me something to tell as a beginner that isn’t gated? It doesn’t have to be profitable just sellable…
