FBA Fulfillment Fees >40% of Revenue. Is this normal?

Hi guys,

I’m an Amazon seller on the Italian marketplace and I’ve noticed something alarming: my FBA fulfillment fees alone (excluding referral fees) are consistently above 40% of my revenue.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

It feels extremely high, and I’m wondering: • Is this normal for sellers in the EU/Italy? • Are there effective ways to reduce fulfillment fees without compromising delivery speed or customer experience? • Would switching to FBM or a hybrid model make sense in this case?

Would really appreciate hearing your experience or tips if you’ve dealt with this kind of situation.

My account is in registration limbo

I tried to make an account on swedish marketplace. My account was made in North America (I used swedish website…). I went into options and chosed to close account, since I didnt want to deal with America. So now I am stuck with registration pending in all places. When I chose any of the countries Im either send back to log in or to “we could not verify Your card”. screen. Amazon support said they cant help me if registration process is in not finished. And when I tried to lopg in to seller forum Im getting information that “This email is not associated with any accounts”. Any advice?

Is it possible to get on a private label product ? Not sure if I’ll just get rejected no matter what

I recently started selling on Amazon and I found a great price on a product at Target and when I looked up the product it looks like it’s only had 2 seller (1 a lot more recent the the other ) and I wasn’t sure if I should go ahead and buy the units . Would I even be approved if I requested to be able to sell?

Changing the ‘Manufacturer’ on an ASIN

I’m trying to join 2 ASINs together in a variation family. The problem is that each ASIN has a different ‘Manufacturer’ listed in the listing. I own both of these ASINs/the brand. In the past, Amazon has told me the only way to fix this is to delete your listing, wait 24 hours, and then re-create it with the new ‘Manufacturer’. I don’t want to disrupt my sales, so is there any way to do this without delete the listing? Thanks in advance!

No help for counterfeits

My friends company owns a patent for a fairly simple product. I helped them create a case and flag the companies who are infringing on their patent. Amazon replies back to us and says that our claim is invalid and they take false claims very seriously and threatened to close the selling account. I’m kind of in shock, there’s no forum to ask how they came to this determination, the case got auto closed, and these 8 sellers are still allowed to sell my friends patented product. Anyone else come out of something in a better way? I feel like trademark infringement is much easier for the offshore people to identify but how is Amazon actually identifying other IP infringement? I don’t know how an offshore person can read a patent and be expected to come to a conclusion.
