Reclaiming the buy box after a price increase
Hello all,
Unfortunate I have had to raise prices recently, (quite dramatically) one product line from 9.99 up to 14.99, and one from 17.99 to 24.99, after research I was recommended to increase steadily so for the 9.99, I went up to 12.99 for 3 days then 13.99 and finally 14.99, I haven’t lost the buy box, all good
However the other product I used the same technique increasing by £2 this time, I held the buy box at 19.99 and at 21.99 but have lost it at 23.99 and 22.99 what I tried, what is the best way to reclaim it? I have seen suggestions of just leave it at 24.99 but also I have read Amazon doesn’t like the price changing a lot so I am hesitant to temporarily lower it and go back up again (this also confuses customers as I put out a statement saying it is going to the new prices on a set date)
Happy to take any advice 🙂

Applying for a Trade Mark in Canada
Hello,
I am getting ready to start my Amazon Seller account, and am looking get my Trade Mark application going.
I have searched the group history and it seems that the IP Accelerator is viewed as over priced (Awesome. There’s one less question to ask) and several people said that hiring a local lawyer was cheaper and didn’t seem to delay the Amazon approval at all.
Has anyone done it themself?
Looking at it is doesn’t seem overly difficult, but perhaps the main reason for a lawyer is just to make sure all ts are crossed?
If someone here has applied for the Trade Mark by themself, would you do it that way again? Or do you really wish you hired a lawyer?
Why? / Why not?
Thank you so much.

Bought the USPS label from Amazon but lost an A-to-Z Claim
I lost an A-to-Z claim for an FBM because the item got lost (and still delayed after 30 days in the USPS system). The buyer filed the A-Z and won.
I bought the shipping label from Amazon directly and shipped it within 24 hours. I always thought the seller is protected from these types of losses/claims when we buy the USPS labels directly from Amazon? Did I misunderstand the policy?
I filed an appeal and lost the A-Z. I no longer see a way to appeal the decision. Any thoughts?

Custom Holidays – backdoor vacation
For all the negative updates Amazon rolls out for sellers – I appreciate that they finally have a backdoor “vacation mode” for FBM listings.
Taking vacation has always been a pain since I dont have everything im with FBA, so I was having to shut down FBM. The current trip Im on, I made a custom holiday – FBM orders are still coming in and have the correct ship by date for when I return.
Its not perfect, but it seems to work and will make vacations less stressful.
