Seeking Advice on LCL Shipping and Freight Forwarder for First Amazon Shipment
Hi everyone,
I recently received a letter of authorization from a Chinese factory to sell their products on Amazon North America. Since then, I’ve registered my seller account and am now preparing to place my first order.
The product is small, so one cubic meter (CBM) of inventory should be enough to cover several hundred units — plenty to get started. The factory only ships under FOB terms, which means I’ll need to handle all logistics on my end.
Given the shipment size, I’m leaning toward using LCL (Less than Container Load) by ocean freight. For those of you with experience in similar situations, do you think that’s a good starting point for a new seller?
Also, if anyone can recommend a reliable freight forwarder based in Shanghai who’s willing to work with just 1 CBM, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for your insights and suggestions!

Amazon A to Z claim refund issue
We sold an item on Amazon, the customer opened up a return on the 30th day (last day possible to open return) claiming the item doesn’t work. Amazon provided an Evri label for the customer to send item back.
2 weeks after opening return, customer files A-to-Z claim stating he already sent item back but we have not refunded.
Tracking for return shows that courier has NOT received item from customer yet. We appealed the claim and said tracking clearly shows customer has not posted item.
Amazon putt the case on hold, then 1 week later we get a message saying Amazon have refunded the customer, and taken the funds from our account. The item has still not been sent back…
We have appealed the decision showing tracking shows item not even scanned by courier, no outcome for second appeal yet.
Is there anything else we can do to appeal this? The whole process has been unfair since the customer has not sent back item yet, and Amazon can see this from the tracking.

Strange Pattern of Unopened Returns With Identical Comments — Need Advice
For the past couple of months, I’ve noticed a pattern of suspicious returns on our account.
We sell shoes, and we’ve been receiving returned packages where the shoe boxes were never opened — the poly mailers are still sealed and untouched. Yet the return comment is always exactly the same on every single return!
What’s even stranger is that these returns come from different buyers, different states, and each buyer has only placed a single order. I don’t understand how or why this is happening, but it’s extremely unusual. We’ve been closely tracking this for the past two months and are seeing about 5 to 8 of these returns every week, though it’s very possible this has been happening for much longer before we noticed.
This situation is costing us a significant amount of money.
Do you have any advice on how we can investigate this or prevent it?

Black Friday Sales – How we doing?!
Curious how everyone is doing this Black Friday? I’m surprisingly down from last year. Not sure if it’s niche specific, the market in general or just my store.

What is your SCAN sheet/ USPS Manifest form / End-of-day form experience?
Hi all, I’m sure plenty of us at some point have gotten the spiel from a USPS worker saying that we should bring in a manifest form or a scan sheet in order to condense all of our individual packages into one master barcode. I have no problem using it if I am fully protected to make both of our lives easier. My question is, have these worked for you in the past?
My concern is that, they will scan the manifest form and the status will only say ‘package scanned‘ / ‘package accepted’ instead of USPS in possession of item… I have also heard that scanning one master barcode can lead to issues if one package within that barcode gets lost, or is claimed as undelivered by an A-to-Z claim on the buyers behalf. Have heard that I will not be covered by the Amazon buy Shipping claims protected badge as well (potentially). If anyone could please share their experience with the scan form/manifest forms that would be excellent. open to any advice or precautions against using them as well. would also really appreciate any anyone who has worked at USPS weighing in on this matter. Thanks!
