Amazon is gaslighting me
Okay, title of post is a bit dramatic, but I do feel like I am going insane.
So. I have my book on Amazon (Australia), and have received some orders. However, I changed my phone number and now can’t log into my account, as I can’t receive the OTP code.
I have contacted Amazon to assist me (so many times) and they keep sending me this email to disable the two-factor identification.
I can’t call them because they don’t offer phone support for the Seller Accounts.
When I go through the process in the email it takes me on a loop like this:
- Click the link in the email
- Enter email address
- Enter captcha (this step emails an OTP)
- Copy and paste OPT into web form
This takes you back to step 1.
Repeat for infinity.
Call the buyer support line again. They send the email with the link that takes you back to step 1.
So yeah, I am really at a loss. Has anyone had any similar issues? I am new to this Subreddit, so maybe this has already been posted. Just need some support (emotional and practical haha).
