Amazon Seller Central Has Put Me in a Corner
I am a university student trying to start a business centered around Amazon FBA. I signed up for seller central and waited for the postcard to come in the mail to verify my address. Within the same day of verifying my address, my seller account got deactivated. I never made any listings or added any inventory to my account. I am truly puzzled why my account was deactivated since I didn’t give them a reason to. It said all I had to do to reactivate my account was to provide a utility bill. Here is where the issue lies. I am a university student and I do not have utility bills since I live in university housing and utilities are included. I live at the Uni housing during school and my parents home during breaks. I also do not have a phone bill in my name either. I sent in a water bill from my parents house that matched my address on file but not my name (it is my parents name). It got rejected by the system. I have tried multiple times to explain my situation but every time I submit my question I get an auto response that looks like this: “This email address is not the correct channel to submit an appeal. Please follow the instructions below to resubmit your appeal to the correct channel.” Now I do not know where to turn. Does anybody have any advice on how to address this issue?
