Brand approval for materials of handmade items

Couldn’t find a clear answer through Seller University and hope you all can help.

I am selling a handmade product that use two materials, sourced from two separate authorized dealers. Would I need to get brand approval from those two companies, if I am taking those materials and handmaking my product myself?

For example, if one of the materials is a 3M tape, but I am buying the tape in Staples, do I need to get a Declaration of Conformity (US based seller) or some sort of document from either 3M or Staples?

I went through Amazon Brand Registry to register my brand name and logo; however, wondering what other brand approval should I make sure to have prepared?
