faster way to get backend info copied to a new product?

I am making multipacks for a plethora of my products, is there a faster way to duplicate the backend data when making them? right now I am copying the information from the single pack into the new product backend, and the only thing I am really changing is the number of items. any ideas or comments will help, but I was wondering if there was a way to pull a populated flat file that has all of the backend information in it?
