Fba wholesale approvals

I have a family member who started Amazon fba several years ago. I suppose items were less strict back then as they did not require permissions and approvals for majority of products unless they are restricted.

I began as a fba seller this year and have been having loads of trouble reaching out to companies to become a reseller for their product . Most commonly because I am not a brick and mortar store.

Anyone have tips or can point me to the right direction on how to over come this?

I’m tempted to enroll in a course the Kenzo course for fba hoping it would answer some resolutions to this but since I already have a family member who’s pretty well rounded off with majority of the fba tips aside from this I’m finding it a little bit unnecessary to invest in all that money to not get the biggest hurdle unanswered .
