First time private label & ad campaign

Just launched a product and started an ad campaign with Amazon (auto keywords and recommended bid settings), just wondering how long on average it takes to see sales from the ad campaign or even clicks.

Is there a timeline where if no sales or product clicks are seen then the ad settings should be adjusted?
