Help with trademarks and brand register

Hi guys we are based in the UK but want to sell within the EU and and the US. We know to get on the Brand Register we need a trademark. My question is, is the UK trademark enough or do we need to register trademarks in the EU and the US as well in order to be on the brand Register outside of the UK.
