Hello.
I discovered a product on Amazon that could be improved and, hopefully, can be sold better the existing product. Then, I searched where else one can purchase this product online. I came across a company that’s based in the USA and selling what seems like the better alternative product. It seems like this company doesn’t sell on Amazon. Also, it seems like there is a way to become their affiliate.
Do I approach them with the intention of becoming an affiliate and talk to them about selling on Amazon? Like, I set up the Amazon pages for them and receive commission?
Or do I continue with the idea of redesigning the existing product and set up an independent product page on Amazon to sell this new product?
Or what other option do I have?
I was thinking about setting up a product page on Amazon and selling my own product until I saw that there is an existing company that seems to be offering a better alternative. Now, I am confused.
What do you think I should do?
