How long typical to operate PPC at a loss?
I launched my first private label product and corresponding PPC campaigns 2 weeks ago. I’ve sold 24 units over that time. I’ve been making some adjustments to try to optimize my campaigns. The combined ACOS for the various campaigns is currently 143%. Obviously, operating at a loss cannot go on forever, but probably it is somewhat expected in the beginning.
Now to my question — how long is typical to operate at a loss before turning profitable on a product launch? Or at least until ACOS drops below 100%. Based on current progress, I’m thinking it could be a few months.
