Question about Brand Registry

If say you listed your product and it was Brand: Generic (prior to getting Brand Registry), then you applied for Brand Registry… Will Amazon change your listing from Generic to whatever your brand name is or do you have to create a new listing with your brand name?? Thanks in advance guys!!
