Selling through Amazon?

Hello, I’ve been eager lately to start an online business, and then I happened to stumble upon Alibaba. After scrolling through the products, I found the perfect one, but then a million more questions hit me, starting with: Where do I sell the product? My first thought was Amazon, but I have no clue how they work with sellers and more specifically; Individual sellers. So I was hoping someone could walk me through what are the steps to selling products through amazon.
These are some of the questions I thought: Do I have to send all my products to them? Should I get the products shipped to the Amazon warehouse instead to my address? Do they have a flat fee for every sale? or is it proportional to its cost? Are there other websites that might be better and frendlier to sell these products through? (The product are phonecases btw)
